About Rural Solutions Queensland
Rural Solutions Queensland (RSQ) is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the sustainability of primary producers, small businesses and their communities in Queensland. Founded in 2006, we have received consecutive funding from the Australian Government and Queensland Government to deliver services. Staff are based locally across 22 local government areas from Brisbane to Western Queensland.

In addition, we have the capability to deliver targeted grant funding. Funding programs have included household and individual support initiatives and focussed small business support grants.

Key features of our organisation
Governance
Our skill-based Board features seven directors with experience in law, accountancy, public administration, advocacy and general management.
Charity
We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and are committed to supporting and empowering Queensland.
Benevolent institution
We’re recognised by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission as a public benevolent institution due to our long-running delivery of benevolent relief.
Deductible gift recipient
Endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office, we are entitled to receive income tax deductible gifts and gift contributions from donors.
Tax concessions
We are exempt from fringe benefits tax, income tax and hold a GST concession. Therefore, 100% of funds provided to us support service delivery.
Leadership
Engaging a permanent Chief Executive Officer, Operations and Communications Teams, we pride ourselves on the professional delivery of targeted programs.
Longevity
As we have consistently grown and expanded our service delivery for nearly 20 years, we have a demonstrated capability to scale up and meet both your requirements and the needs of clients.
