About Ros Heit
Rosamund (Ros) commenced as a Director of the Board in November 2021. She works with our CEO and Board to deliver results that positively contribute to the sustainability of primary producers, small businesses and their communities in Queensland.
Ros, English born, has lived near Wooroolin in the South Burnett for over 30 years with her husband, on their property where they raised their three children, who have now flown the nest.
She has a range of experiences from being Area Manager of UnitingCare, a local Government Councillor and currently a board member of a large superannuation fund, Chair of the local radio CROW FM and member of the Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation (BIEDO). Ros has always lived in rural communities and been involved in supporting people, businesses and communities to grow and thrive.
Ros has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from London; Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
