About Louise Winten
Louise commenced as a Director of the Board in November 2022. She works with our CEO and Board to deliver results that positively contribute to the sustainability of primary producers, small businesses and their communities in Queensland
Born and raised in South West Queensland, Louise has strong community connections to the area and is an active member of numerous community groups.
Louise has spent 5 years as a State Councillor for Isolated Children’s Parent’s Association Queensland and is an executive member of many local associations. Louise is a member of the RFCS Charleville Reference Group, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine Reference Group, as well as the Regional Community Forum for the Darling Downs and South West regions.
Louise lives north of Morven, with her husband and 3 children where they run a cattle, sheep and goat enterprise. They also have a property south of Morven in the Mulga Belt.
She is passionate about ensuring regional areas remain vibrant and thrive in the good times, whilst preparing for what the future may bring.
Louise has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course, has a Diploma in Agribusiness Management and is a JP.
